During a mantle or a vault, release your movement keys and hold ASCEND. The result is a strong vertical jump. Vault jump currently shares the springboard animation.

Springboard questions

Do abilities unlock every few levels?

Only some do. Coil is level 2, Dropkick is level 5, and Combo is level 10. Dash, powerslide, dropdown, afterboost, wall boost, and wall kick are challenges. Chain is at the top of Vertigo.
