What is Dropkick?

Coil and press ATTACK. You knock other players back based on your velocity, stop upward movement, and can redirect a swing. Landing during the kick briefly immobilizes you.

Do abilities unlock every few levels?

Only some do. Coil is level 2, Dropkick is level 5, and Combo is level 10. Dash, powerslide, dropdown, afterboost, wall boost, and wall kick are challenges. Chain is at the top of Vertigo.
