Wall Boost: From an air dash, look up and double-tap ASCEND on a wall. Get it by Clear Wall Climb Boost, southwest of Advancement Beta. The challenge disables wall climb and requires rank 3. Use it to Hold the air dash. If the double tap fails, the mission tip is to tap ASCEND as fast as you can.

What is Wall Boost?

From an air dash, look up and double-tap ASCEND on a wall. The boost gives much more upward speed than a normal wall climb and is what makes a wumpy work.

Wall Boost questions

Do abilities unlock every few levels?

Only some do. Coil is level 2, Dropkick is level 5, and Combo is level 10. Dash, powerslide, dropdown, afterboost, wall boost, and wall kick are challenges. Chain is at the top of Vertigo.
